If you ever decide to visit Peterborough Ontario Canada, you must stop by the Riverview Park & Zoo to see the vintage Sabre jet fighter aircraft on static display. Erected in 1971 and recently it was taken down and given a new paint job by a local company “Flying Colours”. A piece of real world history you can see up close. These planes where used in WWII and Korea. Listen to the birds chirping in the video clips which were recorded Saturday June 13, 2009 using my KODAK Z650 digital camera. I was standing probably thirty feet from Water Street in a very quiet area of town. At the end of this video is a 360 degree view of the surrounding area. ENJOY! Visit Peterborough.

Once you pick the model and features you want, if you can afford it, go with new. If you need to save money, take refurbished as your second choice. At least it has been looked at by a technician and restored to full functionality. With used, you are taking it "as is" and if there are any repairs needed, they are your responsibility. ]]>

Thiess Services owned 2004 Volvo FL6 / MJ Recycler, contracted to Darebin Council for the recycling collection. This truck has been recently refurbished with new motor, refurbished engine etc, with most new parts used in the new Volvo FE range. The truck now sound’s much like an FE.
This current 4 trucks will be replaced in September 2011, if Thiess wins the contract again, or is extended.

8MM – Smaller than most video formats, 8MM tape offers better quality than VHS recording, but not as good as digital formats.
Auto Focus - A feature that allows you to point at an object and have the camera automatically adjust to provide the clearest image of that target.
Backlight Control – A setting that increases aperture when there is a strong light source behind the subject – thus insuring that they will not be underexposed.
Compact VHS – Smaller than standard VHS, this format is not used much these days. The resolution of a Compact VHS tape is the same as a standard VHS.
Digital 8 – A higher resolution format that uses digital technology. Features resolution 20% higher than high-8 or VHS-C formats.

MiniDV - This digital format offers outstanding audio and video quality. Tapes are small and can be played back using the camcorder and simple AV cables.
Night Shot – A new technology new to consumer camcorders that allows the individual to shoot images without any available light source. The image generated will have a green, “military” tint to it when viewed.
Photo Mode – Many digital camcorders allow you to use the device as a still camera. Photo Mode is the selection on the camcorder that switches over to this feature.
Picture Noise – Low image quality or grainy footage as a result of poor lighting.
