I’m a Lakers fan but I agree. It seems like not only did Kobe borrow Michael Jordan’s moves & demeanor on the court, but even his facial expressions & the way he celebrates (2009 NBA Finals victory) seem to be lifted from Jordan.
Kobe even admitted in an interview that he was highly influenced by Jordan.
That said, Kobe is still the best player in the league, and if not, then he’s right behind LeBron.

i really don’t have a problem w/ KB coping MJ’s playing style…my problem has always been the mannerism….the fist pump… jumping up & down after winning the finals…..saying he can’t guard me, he can’t guard me….im not saying MJ came up with all that , but we all know kobe copied it from him….kobe should just do that airplane thing that he does..that’s a kobe original.

You are entitled to your opinion and it doesn’t change mine. He said the comparisons got “weaker” which in context means they were weak in the first place, admitted he saw Kobe copying MJ, and the reason he said fading is because Kobe’s athleticism is fading.
