Have you ever purchased a refurbished digital camera?
from Kodak or any other company? I see several on ebay. Are they good quality? Would you recommend buying refurbished?
No.With something you will have for a while…like a camera I usually try really hard and wait to save up for a legit item. It’s a "refurb" for a reason. Not too helpful if you can’t wait.
Cameras you will keep it for as long as it lasts!Get one that you know will last.Looking for one too.
Saying:it’s worth it to splurge on it,if your going to use it

I wouldn’t buy it on Ebay.
I have bought refurbished, but only where I can return it and/or have a conniption in person.
Happy with all but one of my refurbished purchases. Returned that one, no questions asked.
Decent digital cameras are only about 89.00 now. Read reviews first.

I wouldn’t. And if you compare prices to the new ones, there probably is not a big difference.

I have bought a refurbished camera of Canon Power shot. eBay recommends insurance extension and it may cost $30 per year. If you want to get an former models, they may be refurbished. I am using a refurbished camera and there is no problem yet. I used it for two months. Digital cameras model change is so fast and if you have budget, it is good to get new one. I recommend new one. But if you do not have enough budget, it is OK to get refurbished one with 1-2 year insurance which cost $30 to $50.

for the main part I actually prefer refurbished, i don’t think most people understand what that means. refurbished is when it has had a problem sent back and then completely gone over and all of the known problems with that particular model are fixed. and there is usually a great deal of savings. would you like to buy it new and then it have it’s problems or get the one that has already had the problems, the parts were updated or fixed, plus checked for any other problems and is cheaper. refurbished is the way to go. buying off ebay for some reason scares alot of people, when something is refurbished on ebay it usually just means that seller found a stock of refurbs at a great deal bought them and is now making a profit. take your time, make sure they have a good amount of feedback and you shouldn’t have any concerns. get a good deal, save yourself some money and buy a refurb.
