Refurbished digital slr camera?
Has anyone ever bought a refurbished digital slr camera? If so, what was your experience? I wanna buy the T1i that is 250 cheaper, but refurbished. Thank you.
I’ve purchased refurbished 35mm SLRs as well as DSLRs with no problems. The key, in my opinion, is knowning the product you are buying well enough to verify that everything is working as it should and that the only blemishes are minor cosmetic issues that have nothing to do with taking a picture. Ideally, the camera has NEVER been dropped and should be refurbished by the original manufacturer. I would also only buy from a reputable dealer and would prefer they offer at least a 30-90 day warranty as part of the purchase.

I agree with eclipse and in support of his "buy from a reputable dealer" suggest that you check with resellerratings.com for that dealer.
